It’s Father’s Day and, on this special day, I want to take a moment to celebrate the amazing individuals who have played a fatherly role in our lives…
I don’t have a dad in my life, or at least one I wish to acknowledge, so I want to express my deepest gratitude to the person who has been the pillar of strength and support throughout my life – my beautiful mum.
From a young age until now, my mum has been my rock, my guiding light and my biggest cheerleader. She has been there for me through thick and thin, providing unwavering support and encouragement. Despite the challenges I faced, including my battle with Bells Palsy, my mum has stood by my side, helping me navigate the hurdles and never letting me lose faith in myself.
In addition to being an amazing mother, she has been an integral part of my success in business. Her belief in me and her unwavering support have given me the confidence to pursue my dreams and overcome any obstacles that come my way. Her love, resilience and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the person I am today.
Today, I want to honour my Mum and all the incredible single parents who have played dual roles, providing love, guidance and support in the face of adversity. Your strength and unwavering commitment is truly remarkable.
To all the amazing dads, father figures, and single parents out there, Happy Father’s Day! Your impact and influence extend far beyond biological ties. Thank you for the love, guidance and support you provide to those in your care.
